PreSchool - Birth to Age 5
For the youngest members of our family our goal at MBC is to be a church that is welcoming and accommodating to young children and their
parents, with understanding of the challenges that parents face when trying to organise their family to attend a church service. The following services
may be of assistance:
Our auditorium has a very large sound-proof room which looks on to the stage and has the music or teaching played from its own speaker system. This
helps parents, to be able to retreat to a different room and still be able to participate in the service during the time when children
are being put down for naps, being fed or just being children.
During the Sunday morning sermon, a dedicated crèche operates to take infants and toddlers off your hands so that you can participate in the
teaching. Our team of volunteers will supervise your children as they play and will call for your assistance if it is required.
At MBC we believe that raising children is an important responsibility, not just for the parents, but the whole community of believers. For parents
who wish to present their child to the church and to dedicate themselves to raising their child as a follower of Christ, this can be done as part
of our normal Sunday services.
Mother's Support Groups
MBC runs a number of support and bible study groups for mothers (of all ages). Some of these are hosted at the church, others as part of our home
group ministry. These ministries seek to build up and encourage mothers, both in the challenges of parenthood as well as their walk with Christ.
During the school term, MBC hosts a play group for children from birth to school age on Fridays from 9:30am to 11:30am. Contact the church office for the latest times and activities.
